Transfer order confirmation - LM05
Hi
I am trying to confirm a transfer order through LM05 t code.
During the confirmation, the material code that appears in the TO is the one in the MATNR-MARA. When I input the same code to confirm the TO, the system shows the following message:
"Material record not found when searching by EAN ID XXXXXXXX"
Why is comparing with the EAN code and not for the material code?

Estoy intentando confirmar una orden de transporte de salida a través de la transacción LM05. En el momento de indicar el código de material para que valide con el que figura en la OT, el sistema arroja el mensaje de error:
"No existe registro de material al buscar número EAN XXXXXX"
Porque si el material que figura en la OT es el correspondiente al del campo MATNR-MARA, el sistema compara contra el código EAN? Que debo modificar para que compara vs el código de Material de la MARA?

Re: P/L run much longer than B/S
Since it's consolidation cube it's most probably YTD Model. B/S is stored in YTD format, so report doesn't have to do any calculation. P/L you have to report in Periodic format, so it has to go through PERIODIC measure formula which is much longer.

Can I create Invoice if shipment has not started?
Hello Gurus,
I am trying to create an invoice from the delivery number.
It prompt me an error message that invoice can not be created as shipment has not started.
Is there any way I can create invoice without changing shipment document?
Please help.

Problems with Automated Monitoring SAP GRC PC 10.0
We are using the Automated Monitoring in GRC Process Control 10.0 to configure a job for SAP standard control and have a problem with the job scheduler. We perform the search for control selection in the step 3(Select Control) and this display the warning message “There is no data matching the selection criteria, please refer to help”.
The scenario created is follows:
Business rule (Configurable Type) was created with valid date of 01.01.2013 to 31.12.999
In the Activities and Processes section, process and subprocess was created. Later the corresponding control was created. This control has a regulation, risk and control objective assigned.

Please check the verification profile of the transfer order and also check the setting for the verification profile. it seems the value is maitained as 3 hence system is checking with the EAN Code. if you want to enter the material code then the value in verification profile shoule be 1
To find which verification profile system is picking please click on the Assign verification profile to Goods movment which is below to Define profile, check the source and destination storage type and movement type in Transfer order and then find the verification profile defined in the above said node, once u have the verification profile then go to Define profile and check what value is maintained against Mat. Src bin / Dest Src Bin
Check the value maintained in the Mat. Src. Bin, or Mat Dest Bin (this depend on the verification profile which you activated at what level source or destination)

I have find out one solution and it works for my, you can check the discussion link on the Unit Page also. What i have done is remove the project paldemo from the solution explorer and import it from the repository once again but in repository i click once on activate and before remove make sure you run the sql part means inserting data on the cloud db. I hope it will work

Profile Parameters on SolMan 7.1 SPS 11
We started to set profile settings Solman. And exposing those or other parameters that would minimize the maximum swap, it turns out that the load on the I/O is too high and the system starts to slow down greatly. Promt, who faced what better profile settings set to what value?

Here is the explanation from the workflow help page.
"Changing the master contract triggers a workflow that accesses the assigned lower level contracts and automatically copies the changes to the lower level contract. If an error occurs, a work item appears in the inbox of the person who changed the master contract, who has to process it manually. A separate window displays all the changes that have been made for information purposes."

Soon I want to start a course in ABAP IV, with the aim to get certified in the medium term. I've played some SAP, and I think it could like me much.
Anyway, I would like to make a career in SAP world, beginning as ABAP developer as IT professional I am. But in large term, I would like to get specialized in any module. So, I would ask you if this is a real possibility, or being an ABAP developer, you get stuck the professional career as ABAP developer.
Being IT, which module can I opt for?, Only BASIS?, or also can I opt for modules like BI, FI, Sales, .. without having studied something related with management and business administration?

The workflow template I was trying to modify is triggered by a standard SAP webdynpro application and I had no choice of calling my custom workflow template (eg: linkages) due to the nature of this workflow. I finally found a note that SAP released recently to call custom workflow template using a badi that will overwrite the standard one. This helped to avoid having to modify the workflow template itself.

This is a report and not a form that supports UDF fields. You will have to look at writing your own query or report with the information you require. You can use the view OINM to get the information you need.
