In this scenario, I am trying to develop ABAP Program which will Transfer Documents from GLT0 to FAGL* Table, i want to take opinion about
- Is it feasible to update Database Table using ABAP Query(Using INSERT, UPDATE or MODIFY)?
- What are possibilities of Database get into inconsistent state?
- Any other factors I must consider during this task?

2 ADS-server + RFC: SALV_WD_EXPORT_PDF usage + Loadbalancing
for the architects:
we are using ADS (adobe document services) for two purpase:
1) using "normal" ADS-functions as PDF-generation from SAP-BW and SAP-ECC systems
with RFC: ADS
see colour orange
2) using ADS-service from NWBC-sessions and WebDynpro-ABAP ALV listings to generate PDF
with RFC: SALV_WD_EXPORT_PDF
see colour red
because we expect much ADS and PDF-generation traffic, we try to realise this scenario with 2 (or more) ADS-server and loadbalancing (round-robin)
for the 1) kind of ADS-usage i will see no problem to realise,
we will use a virt.IP for hostalias ADSPRD pointing to the loadbalancer and the loadbalancer is doing round-robin to the first or to the second ADS-server.
but the 2) szenario with RFC: SALV_WD_EXPORT_PDF and PGM-ID how to realise for that szenario a loadbalancing ???
we configured both ADS-server JCo with identically PGM-ID, both are connected to the ECC-sapgwnn, but with PGM-ID, the way from RFC-destin. SALV_WD_EXPORT_PDF with PGM-ID to the gateway will find allways the same ADS-server, there is no round-robin loadbalancing ?
? is loadbalancing possible for the 2) szenario ?

The problem only occurs when trying to "view more failed data" for a a rule linked to a view in IS.
If the rule is linked directly to a ECC-table or to a flat file, "view more failed data" will work properly.

Hi Praneeth,
1.While running Payroll In period of 11.2013 (for period 12.2012) we are getting amount for wage type /414 = 10248/- .
However Earlier in period 12.2012 (for period 12.2012) value for wage type /414 was 17586/- . I founded /616 is generating below showed screen.
So now if we run wage type (9963) reporter, it is showing 10248/- itself.
How to find out this difference? What are the possible ways to find how this difference coming ?
2.In my case earlier /416 and new /416 both are same i am not getting any variation but in some cases getting difference in either /410 or /411 or /414 in that cases i am getting /616 is it correct or not ?

Continuous ABAP Dump DBIF_REPO_SQL_ERROR
Hi Experts,
Suddenly we are getting lots of two ABAP dump.
DBIF_REPO_SQL_ERROR
and
DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR.
which is affecting lots of programs and tables.
In dump DBIF_REPO_SQL_ERROR, the short text is like SQL error "-502" occurred when accessing program "CONTEXT_I_TR_SYS_PARAMS ". where the program name is different in different dumps.
How to resolve the issue. Please help me. If you need more information please tell me.

Assign a null field to a variable
Dear Community first of all thanks for the support that you provide with this network.
I have a little but important problem: in brief i need to calculate a compliance about one field. If this field is compliant then i assign 0 otherwise 1. This calculation is made in a formula and it works. The problem is that if the TYPE of the field is XX i do not need to calculate this compliance but anyway i need to count how many instance of this type i have for each customer.
In brief if in the selection criteria i exclude the type XX the compliance calculation works but i do not count the XX type because are excluded.
If in the selection criteria i consider the type XX and even if i add a proper if statement before calculating the compliance, at the end the variable is 0 and it affect the overall compliance calculation.
I think that my solution is to assign a NULL value to the variable in case the TYPE XX is reached but i can not

My doubt is how about the Flat file strucure for time dependent object?
is there any special feilds can be seen in that compared to normal flat file of hierachies.
please provide one sample FF for time dependent.

From the flat file how would be load to BW system
which version (3.X or 7.X ) is the best and simple to get this loaded into BW system.
