Re: Deletion status of Quota arrangement in MEQ4
Hi Diwakar,
The field change type to the layout exists in transaction MEQ4, which is used for tracking the change history of quota.
In the change history all the changes with change type 'I' and 'U' can be tracked. But after deleting the quota by using MEQ7 transaction, the change history is not being updated.
When verified through MEQ4 there is no history shown either with reference to MEQ7 or with change type 'D'.
I would like to know if there is any gap or issue for updating the deletion status of quota in change history.

SET_ATTRIBUTE_PROPERTY doesnt work
Hi All,
I have a declared a node ABC cardinality 1:1 under the context of my view and under this node ABC i have an Attribute MARK type boolian.
in the layout, I have a UI element check box for which I have binded the attribute MARK.
Now I want to set the read_only property dynamically to this check box.
LO_ND_ABC = WD_CONTEXT->GET_CHILD_NODE( NAME = WD_THIS->WDCTX_ABC ).
LO_EL_ABC = LO_ND_TRAVEL_DATA->GET_ELEMENT( ).
CALL METHOD LO_EL_ABC->SET_ATTRIBUTE_PROPERTY
EXPORTING
ATTRIBUTE_NAME = 'MARK'
PROPERTY = 3
VALUE = 'X'.
But the check box was not set with read_only property.
I have searched many threads and after which i am raising this problem here.
I have also tried SET_ATTRIBUTE_PROPS_FOR_ELEM and SET_ATTRIBUTE_PROPS_FOR_NODE aswel.. but nothing worked out..
Please help.
I don't want to create an attribute and bind it to read_only property of the check box in the layout.

SAP Certification
Hi Gurus,
I have recently joined a startup organization on SAP (HR ABAP). This is my first job and my experience in SAP field is just 5 months and my profile here is a Trainee. From the day 1 I have been working hard on my ABAP skills. Because I dont have access to our SAP system neither we have an IDES here, my knowledge is limited just to theory and still I am in beginners place. Now, the problem is our management is quite impressed with my efforts (as they say), they want me to appear for the Certification by the end of this month. Their condition is initially they will sponsor 70% of the fee towards the Certification and if I clear the Certification, they will pay the remaining 30% also. But, if I fail to clear the cert., then I should pay back the whole amount immediately. And the most important thing here is I dont have any option i.e., I should appear for the Certification by the end of the month.
So, I am now very much confused regarding my plans.
Please suggest me with a good plan for the Cert. and more importantly I do not know how the Cerrtification is going to be, so plese help me out with the certification process also (applying and clearing).

9.0 version will not support Windows XP. You need Windows 7 or 8.

I'm sure a little thought on your side could resolve this issue. You could, for example, read the ABAP Help on "IF" or logical expressions, and work out isn't quite right.
Please put some effort in. It does you no good to be spoonfed answers when you don't understand what you are doing.

It seems that part of your BI platform upgrade hasn't completed. the web app hasn't deployed fully.
'PJS' means Adaptive Processing Server - in your case, presumably the one that supports the Design studio 'Analysis application' runtime
You should contact Technical Support (AGS) and work through this problem with an deployment engineer.

BI 4.1 AD Authentication and SSO to multiple BW Systems
Hi experts
I want to use SSO from a BI4.1 System to multiple Systems. This mainly because we want to have connections to BWD and BWP system on BI4.1 development system. AD authentication and SSO to BWD system are working. Connection to BWP is not possible at the moment.
I thought to problem is that the BWP users are not importet to the BI4.1 System. So i added BWP as a entitlement system. Then I deleted all users just to reimport them again to match aliases. Now the problem is when I go to AD authentication and click on "Update AD Groups and Aliases now" not all of the AD users are getting imported. Just like 5 or so. However the users are getting updated correctly (now 3 Aliases instead of 2).
When I click again on "Update AD Groups and Aliases now" another 2 or 3 users are getting imported and updated. But never all of them. After a while repeating these steps, all of the users are there with the correct Aliases. Did anybody face a similar issue?
What also works is to assign Aliases manually (however this is what I wanted to avoid).

in sapstartsrv_ccms.log the last line is
INFO: CCMS agent initialization finished.
and the trace is not updated anymore after that, it means, the integrated agent is deactivated.
You need an agent on the standalone DB server in any case, because for example EWA will check OS data for the DB server.
Do you mean with "CI" an ASCS instance? An agent can be installed to monitor the status of the enqueue service, please have a look at the note
2006304 - Usage of CCMS agent SAPCCMSR with option -j2ee
but for EWA this is not required.
Did you manage to register the standalone sapccmsr agent on the DB server?

I mean that we would like that documents attached to PR positions would not be transferred to PO positions; as we need to do some calculations and attach documents manually. We do ti using an enchancement.

Some times the entries are locked if any other user left the system in between.
Check for lock entries in SM12 ask your basis team to delete it.
then you can load without problem.

How to hide deleted materials lines from material list in COR2
Hi experts,
In this list when we delete a material line it is shown in grey. We want the sistem to hide it.
Making some debugging we've seen that in program
SAPLCOMK / LCOMKU01
If you set the flag "no_show_del" to 'X' the system hides this lines, but we are not able to discover how the program gets this value (uses PERFORM get_del_flag(saplcodt) USING no_show_del. but not able to understand how this form gets the data and from wich table).
Can anyone please help me finding the proper flag for this?
