There is no std document that is available for migration from TAXINJ to TAXINN.
It is equivalent to doing a new implementation, as you need to close all the documents,
and then change the tax procedure to TAXINN.
In OBBG you can assign the tax procedure for country as IN. So if you assign
TAXINN here against IN then TAXINJ will not be picked any more.

Hi there,
We are running on a virtual Linux landscape. I want to create a sandpit environment
based on our current ECC 6.0 Dev system for now.
We have created a new virtual server and cloned the DEV system onto this.
Now before I start SAP are there any do's and dont's that anyone knows about.
e.g. I know I need to rename the hostname in the instance/startup profiles and in /etc/hosts
I also need to remove the links to the transport domain conroller.
Just wondering if anyone has gone through this procedure and offer any advice
on the subject

Without doing anything, just re-import the same request again with overwrite option. Your problem will be resolved.

I can see the error is that you are using the same Work Area ls_acc in both the Loop and the Read statment.
When you use the Read statement into the Work area ls_acc, then how come the work area ls_acc know the value it is comparing to ?
If you are using 2 Work area in the Loop and in the Read statement, then it should work.
However, if just in order to read the 2nd record as your requirement, Please use Loop ...where....

Hi All,
We are implementing ESS MSS for EHP6 using NWBC. I am quite new to this kind of stuff.
One of the requirements is that the employee should be able to edit the bank details in personal profile on ESS pages but those details shouldn't be editable by the manager when the manager. Whenever the manager opens the employee's details using the on-behalf services only the bank details should be read-only but the rest of the details should be editable.
Can anyone let me know how this can be achieved?

Now the screen where you enter service tax G/L accounts will no
longer be available.
You will have to maintain the service tax payable accounts
in the table J_1ISERACC this is for all the latest versions
and SPs where the service tax part is integrated to the cenvat
transactions especially those trans actions where cenvat/service tax
utilisation exists (J1IIN, ARe1/3, J2IUN).
So please maintain the appropriate accounts in this table for payable
and credit of service tax only and then try J2IUN.

Also ensure that you have maintained number ranges for the objects-
J_1ISERPAY Service Tax Payable Serial Number range object
J_1ISEREXT Service Tax Exempt Payable Number Range object
J_1ISERCRD Service Tax credit used for payments number range object

I was thinking the same thing. However, when I run RSRT, I get all 1234 invoices, but when I run it in Bex Analyzer, BusinessObjects Analysis, Web Intelligecen and even I create a MutliSource universe in BusinessObjects which connects to the cube directly without queries, I get only 1000 invoices. No more than that.

At present we have a scenario with RFC connection between web service to SAP systems. now we are planning to implement Secure RFC for the same sceanrio.
So could you please suggest how to establish SRFC in SAP systems. like Server level settings like SNC, Certificates, rfc destinations...
present sceanrio: web Application ---> SAP by RFC calls.

How to stop the blank report to be generated and delivered in
crystal report server 2008? I scheduled a job to delivered
crystal report as PDF attachment by email service daily, but the blank report
is sent out if there is no data. It is kind of annoying to have to open the
email and then open the attachment only to find nothing there.

This function module (CACS_SPLIT_PATH) worked the best for me.
All other FMs mentioned above didn't return the FULL path. Instead of returning 'c:\myfolder' they kept returning '\my folder' only. They also changed the returned filename for some reason. Instead of returning 'test1.txt' they kept returning 'test.txt'.

you can manually create short time snapshots with PL/SQL procedure DBMS_WORKLOAD_REPOSITORY.CREATE_SNAPSHOT or change the general snapshot interval with procedure DBMS_WORKLOAD_REPOSITORY.MODIFY_SNAPSHOT_SETTINGS.

please provide the corresponding full AWR report. The provided snippet is much too less information, because of a lot of metadata for these metrics is missing. You can also drop me an e-mail (check out my SCN profile) with the full AWR report, if you don't want to provide it in public.

That's mostly the issue, because of usually just a few metrics are looked at, but not at the scale basis as well.

See if adding CrTable.Location = Our Schema Here & "." & Tbl.Location after CrTable.ApplyLogOnInfo(crtableLogoninfo) will help. E.g.;
CrTable.Location = <Our Schema> & "." & Tbl.Location
CrTable.ApplyLogOnInfo(crtableLogoninfo)
Make sure your process has access to the tnsora file. E.g.; C:\Oracle\product\10.2.0\client_1\NETWORK
Other than that, you could try to use the db logon writing utility attached to this KBA and see if that code will help.

In the FM you have to provide all the logic you need to. The structures are all there.
You don't pass in a characteristic number to the FM. Your FM just looks up whatever characteristic you want it to.

I would first of all thank you all helping me so far.
The current issue is with alerts in SAP PI 7.31 Single Stack
I have configured alert rule in ID in D, Q and P systems and added the AlertConsumerJob in NWA-->Operations-->Jobs-->JavaScheduler.
The strange thing I am facing is, in D system ALERTS are getting for each and every failure in PI (for ex: channel stopped, duplicate primary key, jdbc connection failed..etc)
Coming to Q and P systems, ALERTS are triggering only for few failures (for ex: jdbc connection failed).
Please give me your valuable inputs that why ALERTS are not triggering for every failure in Q and P systems.
