Hi,
Have you checked BW (server) load status during your loads?
During your load how many others loads are triggered in last week and this week?
Check about any special loads are scheduled.
As my guess FI Data loads might be triggered to refresh hourly basis.
You can compare last week data load(which took 3hrs) details and present week data loads(which taking 5hrs) in SM37.
Observe and find the step at which points its taking more time.
Use t code - RSODSO_SETTINGS to improve DSO load and activation time.

[BO XI R2] Restore after server crash
Hello,
here is my configuration :
- server 1 : Business Objects XI R2 applications
- server 2 : CMS Oracle (10g) database
"Server 1" has crashed (hard drive failure) and I want to reinstall a new server using existing CMS database (server 2).
I first tryed to backup and restore CMS Oracle database on another server, but the result is the same that "plugging" new BO install on existing CMS database, meaning : I see my universes in designer, but can't import them. Obviously, the files are not present in the file repository server (server 1).
Question is : is it possible to plug a fresh BO install to my existing Oracle CMS database ?

Hi Dipak,
PI has component integration where you can monitor separately SAP EM messages. You can wait for other team members comment who have done this similar setup or you could post in PI forum to get the answer. Because, it will be the same monitoring action as per my understanding like other SAP system messages error handling.
The PI integration has facility to integrate Alert and send an email to respective team if any failure of messages.

We've new requirement in that business users asking BW report which combines data of IW28, IH06 and IW68 standard ECC reports all this comes under plant maintenance module.
I've checked all the PM relevant standard extractors but none of the datasources are not fitting my requirement!
So can you please guide me is there any standard datasource available which fulfill my requirement by any luck
FYI I am posting here below the actual requirement of the business.
Report you can analyse malfunction notifications (causes, break times, failure times etc.) with one collective report. Report is based on data from transactions IW28, IH06 and IW68.

BOE 4.1 SSO for Crystal Reports scheduling and publications
Hi,
We have setup SSO for 4.1 to SAP BW which is using the sap tokens (assertion tickets) and everything is working fine.
However, we are getting database connection error when scheduling crystal reports and running publications which includes crystal reports. The error was "Details: Logon to underlying database failed".
Webi reports which use universe are have similar issue when viewing on demand. It does not single sign on. The reports only run when a username and password is entered.
Does anyone know how to get this to work?

I think the issue is somewhere in the data type fplt-fakwr and konv-kwert.Seems like data type konv-kwert has the capability to get converted into Country Specific decimal notation?...
Just as a additiona information -
fplt-fakwr and VBRK-NETWR data types are behaving in the same way since there domain is same.
Does the Domain WERTV7(for field konv-kwert ) description gives you any hint?

I think this is not actually a pure workflow problem. The leave request application is responsible for finding the agent or making the user to enter it (at least in the standard solution), and the workflow just uses that agent.
Have you checked the workflow settings for the leave types in IMG -> ESS -> Service Specific Settings -> Working time -> Leave request -> Processing processes? I think there is some kind of option for forcing to have something in the next processor (approver) field? I am not sure about this, but the field "Not necessary to enter next agent" might work. I mean that if this is empty, then the application might let you to sent the leave request with no approver.
Other option might be that you add your own code to the BADI to do some additional checks when submitting the leave. Submit an error message if the next processor field is empty. I am not sure, if this is possible, but worth to check.

Dynamic Filter Datasource
Hi All,
Have an scenario,
Once we select Country from Dimension filter then ListBox also has to filter for same selected country.
Tried and searched forum and got this below code which is not working:
LISTBOX_1.setItems(DS_1.getMemberList("YCoun", MemberPresentation.INTERNAL_KEY, MemberDisplay.TEXT, 50));
In the above code, assume that:
* DS_1 is the data source used for the Cascading Dimension filter which has country field and DS_2 is the data source for List Box which also has country field
* LISTBOX_1 displays the list of countries
Any Pointers what iam missing in the above code. Is there any other way to achieve this to get to work?

Condition Type 0300 : No Update Type For Incoming Payment Error
Hello All,
While creating the Redemption using TS01 I am getting the below error i.e Condition Type 0300 : No Update Type For Incoming payment.
When I try to configure the same under : Assign Update Types To Condition types, I find 0300 Condition type in Passive Position with the FEMA category TZ and Outgoing Update Type SAM7000 Incoming Update Type blank. I tried to assign SE2200 but not able to find in search help.
My Question is why I need to assign Redemption Update Type to condition 0300 which is related to interest outgoing payment?
