Hi Sriram,

I followed 2067086 - ORA-01017 during SAP Upgrade note and tried connecting oracle using SPASR3SHD and SYSTEM and connected with same password.

We are using SUM1.0 SP12 and "changing the password in the SUM tool to the same password set at oracle level' could not be done here.

HCM Payslip

Dear Experts,

I would like to know the syntax of multiplying a wage type by -1 whenever it is available in the payslip.

This wage type is a deduction one, but it is available in the payroll results with a positive sign (standard behavior).

The required scenario is to multiply this wage type by -1 as it appears in the Deductions section in the payslip.

This info is insufficient to solve the problem.

You should post the exact error along with its message number and the transaction where it appears. With a description what you did in that moment.Explain why you need to cancel.

Have you changed any customizing after the receipt, as it is quite strange that a receipt can be posted but a cancellation results in an error.

Of course you should use the error message (and/or the message number) to first search the forum if this question was eventually already asked and solved.

In replace connection method. Use DBOptions._doNotVerifyDB.

Test and let me know if you get the same error?

Re: DBA question: "sticky" statistic?

$

Careful.   The concept of "stickiness" is not necessarily a problem that needs solved.   What "sticky" means from index statistics is that certain statistics attributes are retained vs. the defaults when update statistics is run without any attribute values specified.    For example, 'histogram steps' - not sure what your values are - but let's say they are 100 (a good value for SAP applications) for a table such as COVP.   If I then run:

update index statistics "SAPSR3"."COVP"

I retain the 100 value for histogram steps even though the default for the server likely is 20.   However, if you remove the stickiness, then run the above command, you will reset the number of histogram steps to 20 - which could lead to query issues with large IN() clauses, etc.   Another way to reset/override the value is to do something like:

update index statistics "SAPSR3"."COVP" using 50 values

....which then sets the 'histogram steps' for all column histograms to use 50 values instead of the previous 100 (or whatever).

Point I am making is that you would not normally remove 'stickiness' from index statistics unless you have a VERY good reason and you fully understand what it is that you are changing and how it will impact query optimization.

Hi, Thanks for your attention, i am not looking to display 4000 character string. If you read my question,We are having trouble with mismatch between string length between Database and Crystal?

Thanks for the reply Bill. Much appreciated.

We are using Work Manager 6.1 running on SMP 3.0. Apologies for the incorrect information.

We want to achieve truly dynamic forms and dont want to hardcode the business logic.

Do you have any presentation on the dynamic forms display by any chance?

New main report using existing reports as subreports

$

Hello to all and Happy New Year,

I'm using CR 2008.

I going to use existing sub-reports, (used as reports) and I would like to know if there is a way to fit (resize content) it an existing report as a sub-report in a new main report ?

Reports are printed in A4, side by side.

Example a new Main report that contains a sub-report with the Item list and another sub-report Client list:

New_Main_Report_All_Datas

--->Report_Item_list  --->Report_Client_list

My problem is that, I need to resize Item_list and Client_list, but they are truncated because the displayed size is not the same as original display who was A4.

Is there a way to handle that or I have to re-arrange the existing report ??

Thank you.

Hi Pedro,

Yes UAR doesn't consider the dates maintained in BRM.

UAR request generation job generates the UAR requests based on roles assigned to users in target system.

UAR workflow update job then sends these requests respective Managers or Role Owners as per your reviewers maintained in configuration settings.

You can refer this document for more details

Re: Handling execution status

Hi,

I managed to update the cargo receipt status and the execution status using the related Actions as follows, but only the execution Status and the delivery Status are shown on the Status tab. The cargo receipt Status and the handling execution statuses are only visible in the /BOPF/TEST_UI Transaction, not on the freight unit. I will open an oss note.

Cargo receipt status -> action -> set_cargo_receipt_delivered (Delivered) available on Header and item

Execution Status ->action->set_exm_status_executed (Executed) after last Event Z-UNLOAD for ex.

Handling execution Status ->action->set_handling_execution (loaded, unloaded, arrived, departed) It is available on item and stop Level. in our case, we need stop level because we have several loading Events and several stops.

Hope it helps

Regards

Petra
