Hello, I don't know how this looks to others, but to me, I could see several or many points to be corrected. But it's hard to help you to correct it, because it may be relevant to how you use the system. e.g. for forecast key figure, you said it's populated manually, however actually manualy populating forecasts is a rare case -- they either come from DP or from CIF ... And do you really able to populate 'Sales Order' key figure manually?

From the table, I have a feeling that maybe you still do not understand some basic things of SNP planning book. I would suggest you to review our online help carefully to understand some internal logic of SNP planning book, than just explaning it from what it looks like, or from the result of your test on it ...

Does SAP Business One OnDemand only support 32bit Client

We are deploying our first B1 OnDemand environment and it appears that only the 32bit Client is Supported.  Has anyone else come accross that or had it confirmed?

Hi Vinay,

 

You can always use SI_ANCESTOR=23 clause in Query builder where condition in order to get the objects underneath which is the id for the Public folder. keep in mind that SI_ ANCESTOR is an unindexed column by using which you may experience performance issues in large deployments with more BI content.

 

for extraction of absolute logical path, you should always go for a SDK code. this is because all the objects in path hierarchy are stored in the same table with parent-child relationship. you cannot use recursive calls in query builder as well as sub queries.

There's another line which says -  "Can add several conditions per field (combined via “AND”)", and I am again confused. What's a field and what's a dimension? are they not the same?

Hi, I think by removing nav. attr, you'll loose data in infocube and MPOS, which means you may not be able to see the nav. attr. characteristics being populated in listcube or /sapapo/mc62. In DP, you will not be able to select or drill down by nav. attr, but data in liveCache will not be affected at all.

Hi Aspire,

 

Your method seems alright since you require SUBRC value for each record, but just a disclaimer, in case the Insertion leads to duplicates, the System will dump. If you are sure there won't be Duplicates, you can continue using INSERT else if there are records with same key field values but varied non-key field values, you can use MODIFY statement.

Hi Km,

 

Actually when we transport from D to Q. all the transported objects and packages need to be the same. As my guess while importing time your or basis team may not be selecting over write options. always better to use top 5 over write option while import to Q and P.

I use my real name and encourage any potential employer to check my SCN profile (they'd be fools not to do that anyway). It is not to showcase my "medals" or points, but so that they could see my communication style and understand that SCN is an important part of what I do. If an employer would be uncomfortable with me spending some time online (without a negative effect on the workload, of course) to learn more about SAP and to contribute (which is the best way to learn), then we're just not meant for each other.

 

But to bring up only the SCN point level as some kind of a major career achievement is just silly IMHO.

Hi…

For material with price control "S" and price determination "3,

You should use “MR21” at the first of next month before you occur MM document of next month if you activate material ledger.

So, To change standard cost, It is good method that you use CK11N or CK40N to prevent

error releated to standard cost.

 

It is impossible to prevent the allocation of certain price

differences which we do not want to allocate back to material valuation.

Because SAP revaluate stock amount using modified standard cost,

SAP create FI document releated to stock revlauation.

T-code “MR21”, CK11N and CK40N revaluate stock amount of material with quantity. FI document  always have stock account and price difference account.

Hi...

 

If you use actual costing and material price
determination 3, you can only change or release prices of marked cost estimates for a
material at the beginning of the period, as long as no goods movements, invoices, and so on

have been created for the material.

If you then try to carry out a price change, the system generates message C+811 or C+212.

    WBS status is TECO,but when execute KKA2,It still show WBS status is REL,Just as Detachment

     What’s the matter? How to solve it.

Both the graphs are plotting the metric below '1' unit; just that the scale for EU/ml is different in both the cases. What is wrong?

 

Can you post a snapshot of the data and highlight the difference.

That is known issue in BO 3.1 base, i guess it is same for XI R2. It does not import recurring instances.

ACTION_ID : ID of the user action that triggered the event. Used

to group events that result from a single user action.

 

Please check the BO 4.0 admin guide for relations of the audit table. Section 31.2 for schema.

Is the LCMBIAR file created using BO 3.1? If that is the case, you cannot import using Promotion Managment. You have to use Upgrade Management to promote the biar file to 4.0

How are breaks being captured in positive time management at your client location? What are the possible time events that can be used?

 

Can you please give a sample scenario by giving clock times for different events that may happen in a day?

Hi Sri Ram,

 

Since this is a .unx and CR4Ent environment, probably there is a way out from the .unx end. Please post this to the Semantic space as well.

 

You would need to create a security table to hold the user_name,user_id and the campus_id at the database end and include this table in the universe schema.This table will 'join' with the 'dimension' table on user_id. A 'where' clause restriction like @variable('BOUSER')=user_name will have to be applied on the dimension table in order to fetch the necessary records per the user.

 

The names stored in the security table have to match exactly with the list of BO users, only then the @variable('BOUSER')={security_table}.{user_name} will get the required results.

 

Further, you could also create a cascading LOV in the universe and restrict it based on the same logic,so as to enable the required prompting for a 'district' user.
