Variables for accounting document item long text (OB56)?

Hello gurus

I have googled and searched on the forum but have not been able to find a proper answer.

We want to set up some default texts for FB01 acctg document item long texts.

We can see that you can create the texts in SPRO (trans OB56) and that there are sample SAP delivered texts with posting period variable $BUP:

AAAA Rent for Walldorf storage building $BUP

LEAS Leasing fee for vehicles in month $BUP

$BUP converts nicely to posting period and year - eg will insert 03/2015 but we don't know where the variable definition comes from.

We would like to do similar texts with a variable for year only (for example).

So.. where is variable $BUP defined and used?

Is there a list of available variables we can add to our line item text templates prefixed by $?

i m doing the same , in app.config file its not an issue ,i can set them manually , and i was thinking the same to search computer name n i did that ,

but issue is i could not find where server connection strings are saved in crystal reports design files, kindly help me or guide me to search those instructions... once i find them i will simply get pc name dynamically n dats it ...

This is the code which is working for me.

IF CAUFVD_IMP-GLUZP = '000000'.   CAUFVD_IMP-GLUZP = '240000'.   CALL FUNCTION 'CO_IH_SET_HEADER'     EXPORTING       CAUFVD_IMP = CAUFVD_IMP.   PERFORM HEADER_UPDATE(SAPLCOIH).
 ENDIF.

Test well in Development clients 100,220 etc before you adapt it.

Please suggest me the suitable event after save , that will get trigger from other scenarios, Like modifying (UPDATE / MODIFY stmts) table entry by otherthan SM30 .

You may take a look at the T-code: VOE4 to see if you've maintained external partner number for partner 800001680.

And please check XD03 for 800001680 in sales area data, Sales tab, Acct at cust.(KNVV-EIKTO)

if you've entered any external partner number there.

Better if you create disassembly production order for your finish product and take all raw material back in stock except the one you have not issued.

After create fresh production order and issue all item and receive finish good and your costing will be accurate.

Hi Steffen,

in most cases it works for me without doing further actions.

But sometimes I have to refresh the browser tab which shows my editor to get the session ID (of the application running in a different browser tab) visible in the settings dialogue.

Did you also check, that the session ID is displayed with full length in the browser developer tools? Depending on the screen size the session ID is not displayed fully.

ok, now at least you got ur table right, but the data type still wrong,

U_EMPOLD_ID = $[@IT_INVENTORY_H.U_EMPFILENO.Number]

are you sure both of them are the same type? U_EMPOLD_ID is nvarchar? if so change it to CAST(U_EMPOLD_ID AS INT)

The finished product is already sold to customer in Jan 15. At this stage , I can not rollback. I want to find the reason for deviation in cost.

That's an important point, on a typical ERP installation, my observation is there are very few Gateway / UI5 applications you can use as a reference for formulating a best practice. If there are bad practices, loose standards and inconsistencies these will likely be copied by the developers on customers sites (like me).

Interestingly i was told that there are very tight UX metrics around the performance of the Gateway services used by Fiori apps, and some apps have not made the grade and therefore were not accepted, would be nice if these metrics were shared.

Use AdditionalFiles option in sender File adapter channel to pick AL11 pdf file as attachment.

You should also have a dummy trigger file in AL11 having message structure same as target third-party SOAP body message

Its working for me also as kunal said, try to recheck once in another form?

The only way, where your settings and mine changed is transparent table is checked for me, but i tried unchecking and creating, its still working.

We are also facing this issue and have logged an incident with SAP too. Can you try to update the Kernel to patch 110? This came out like just recently.

After we apply the Kernel... it works... hope this can help for your case.
