Part Pallet Consolidate in Delivery

Hi All,

 

I have some requirements where I would like to have suggestions; please see below.

 

Part pallets at goods Issue staging area have to consolidated in one HU.

After TO picking and confirmation, pick HUs would be created. Now some pallets would be part pallets and these need to be consolidated into one full pallet. These part pallets can be of different materials. Now we need a RF transaction to scan all part pallets to one full pallet.

 

 

1. So on what basis we can say a pallet is full pallet? Lets say different material would have different storage unit types. So if I am consolidating different materials, then on what basis I can add those pallets?

Lets say material A,B and C. Storage Unit type (Large Pallet) of A is 10 cases. SUT(Large Pallet) of B is 5 cases. SUT (large pallet) of C is 5 cases.

And one truck maximum height can have a large pallet which is 10 cases of A.

So now at goods issue area, we have part pallets of A with 5 cases and B and C with 4 cases each.

Lets say if I consolidate A(5 cases) , B (4cases) and C (4 cases) it can not be loaded in the truck. I can have only 2 cases of C.

Otherwise, the height of pallet exceeds the truck height.

Now how can I have SAP check all these and prevent consolidation which is not feasible for loading?

 

2. Second scenario, lets say pick HUs created for A (5 cases), B (4cases) and C(2cases)

So 3 HUs created in outbound delivery and all have HU labels.

Now which is the best suitable approach to consolidate all 3 materials?

Which is the std RF transaction for this? Also if I create a new HU and pack all 3 HUs in one HU, would that be best approach?

 

3. How can I have HU label for consolidated pallets? This consolidated pallet will have different materials, so can I have output label with all 3 materials printed?

That was correct although I discovered that if you type something like a ) instead of selecting from the list of operators, it get's deleted when you save the view.  That took some time to realize although if you look carefully at the error, you can see it.

Hello Nish,

 

The MSHOST and MSPORT options from the wdisp/system_X parameters have to point to the Message Server HTTP port of the backend in question, not to ICM ports.

 

To configure the BWD system at the Web Disp., check the following parameters at the BWD profiles:

- rdisp/mshost

- ms/server_port_X or ms/http_port (old parameter; should use ms/server_port_X instead)

 

To configure the JWD system at the Web Disp., check the following parameters at the JWD profiles:

- j2ee/scs/host

- ms/server_port_X or ms/http_port (old parameter; should use ms/server_port_X instead)

generate call object in preventive maintenance

Hi,

 

Can anybody tell me why this happened in preventive maintenance.

 

I have scheduled the maintenance plan for generate call object, in scheduling parameter tab in maintenance plan I have check mark in Completion requirement  [I go through the F1 help but don't get properly, so here my question is that what is exact functionality of this check mark  ?  ]

 

 

As per my understanding whenever the previous call object is not in technically completion, then system will not generate the next call object.

 

but here in my system before we do any technical completion system automatically generate call object, I also check in IP10 transaction there is showing so many dates are Scheduled called....

 

Dear gurus please clarify more about this in clearly.

Hello,

 

It would seem that your saprouter service definition is not pointing to the correct saprouter file.

 

You can double click at the saprotuer service, and verify where your saprouter was supposed to be at the "path to executable" field.

Confirm that all saprouter files are there.

 

You can also verify the command line being executed. Maybe the saprouter files are there, but the command line is pointing to files that do not exist (like wrong path to the saprouttab file).

 

If you need further assistance, post screenshots showing:

- complete "path to executable" field of the saprouter service;

- contents of the folder where the saprouter should be, based on the "path to executable" field.

Hi SAP experts,

 

There is a requirement of using the functionality of Settings->Field for selection functionality in our ALV report.

 

Please suggest some way to implement it. I am attaching the screenshot. This functionality i need to use in alv report. Thanks in advance

Hi Chandra

The point is simple:

 

If you do MMPV, and set period 2 as 'actual period', and then post in Period 1, the system create 2 ML documents, one in period 2 and 1 in period 1 in order to maintain the traceability of the cost of the initial stock in period 2. If you see in period 2 a line OPEN STOCK, this is sort of photo of the time you did MMPV, and in order to have the real initial stock in CKM3N in period 2, you see the aditional consuptions.

Hi Azhar,

 

Since sender is ABAP proxy, i cannot check the message in communication channel monitoring for attachment file name.

 

Moreover, Attachment.getContentType() could only me document type. Here is the traceinfo for same, that returned image/png as ContentType and does not contain file name in it.

Hi Vivek,

 

The error in the dev_w0 trace file indicates the following.

 

The error only indicates that the DB is shutting down.

Also the dev_disp error indicates possible dns entry error but this is also sometimes just an error that is not always correct.

What you need to to and confirm is the following.

 

1. Was there any changes to the sap system recently or is it perhaps a newly installed system?

2. You need to give more information for from the database related logs.

 

If you were able to logon to database sqlplus "/as sysdba" you could use the following command to determine dump location.

 

show parameter background.

 

Then go to location of parameter background_dump_dest in the location of this file usually something similar to /oracle/app/oracle/diag/rdbms/SID/SID/trace for linux or in your case d:/

 

Please check in this directory for the database alert_SID.log for more detailed errors and paste here when you have the opportunity. Also you would be more suited to move this post the the space SAP on Oracle, it is currently posted under SAP Netweaver Application Server.

some times it happens because of power failure which cause data integrity  , you should raise a ticket to SAP Support or you can restore a known healthy backup.

OTR not getting generated

Hi TM Expert ,

 

I am creating a SO in ECC and expecting to get a OTR in TM .

 

I checked SXMB_MONI and noticed that XML message has been processed successfully .

 

I checked even OTR type condition and found correct and OTR config is in place .

 

I am just wondering what could be other reason .

 

Last OTR generated in 2014 so just wondering is there any time related config need to be done so it gets created in 2015 as well .

Hi Jurgen,

 

I am not sure - I am only a business user at a company that has only been using SAP for about 5 years.  We don't have a lot of knowledge or experience and are still "finding our way."  It is, for someone that is not an expert, very difficult to find out the functionality of different SAP modules and products.

 

Luckily, we have helpful community members like you to point us in the right direction.  :-)

 

I will try to learn more about Warehouse Management and see if I can make a proposal here internally to use it.
