Webide bindElement issue
Hi experts,
I have an issue with bindElement statement inside webide.
I developed a sapui5 application within eclipse.
If i use the code in the controller : this.getView().bindElement(url) the request is sent to the backend.
If i use the same code in webide , i see no request sent to the backend .
Any tips/suggestions ?

1) What's the result if you use instead of commit;
EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'commit;';
Maybe there is a bug in commit; statement.
2) What's the result if you use
commit using sqlca;
Maybe the context of the statement is not set to the correct transaction object.
3) Does the SQLCA.lock differs from the earlier version?
4) Are there differences between the PBODB115.ini and the PBODB126.ini.

You can always enter batch number i.e. the internal number in any standard sales or purchase document to link it with specific VIN, but if you do not do it through an action on vehicle then no vehicle history will be updated neither the primary status will be changed..so it will be situation where vehicle is with status "Incoming Invoice created" and vehicle will not be in physical inventory...in this case manual status correction using VELOE is required..which is not much appreciated...Much better way is if you are using DBM 7.0 or DBM 8.0 you can use VELO transaction available to implement the return delivery process .check if you have standard actions for this process added primary action matrix

XML file
Hi,
I create new xml file by using interface IF_IXML_DOCUMENT and method CREATE_SIMPLE_ELEMENT_NS
(Lo_Ixml = cl_ixml=>Create
Lo_Document = Lo_Ixml -> Create_Document( ).
............ )
I download the file by create output stream and rander.
When i click on the downloaded file (named Myfile.xml) the xml editor open the file and the data look good.
But when I open the file with other editor (like notepad) I found that some characters replaced by other characters.
E.g. the character " replaced by the word "
the charcter ' replaced by by the word &apos
Any clue why SAP replace the characters?
Any help will be appreciate
We are using SAP 7.4 NON unicode.
P.s.
Before download I convert the XML to UTF-8 using fanction SDIXML_DOM_TO_XML
but same result.

BW 7.4 : Prevent reporting until dataloads are completed ?
Hello,
This is a question, I remember being asked years ago, back in the BW 2.0 days ...
I am now being asked the exact same question, and as a sap basis guy, I still could not find an easy answer.
We are running SAP BW 7.4 SPS09, we have several infocubes FI/COPA/PCA/P&L ... that should be accessibles to the business users,
only when dataloads are completed. Process chains should be fully completed : Cubes compressed, aggregates rolled-up, statistics updated, ...
We had several dataloads incidents over the past few weeks, and before we knew it, users were doing their reporting on incomplet data.
We are now facing a confidence issue from the business regarding BW.
I remember that back in the BW 2.0/BW3.5 days, we had to manually send several "green-light emails" each morning, after checking that the dataloads were complete, informing the business users that they could start their reporting.
So I have a few questions :
1/How could we prevent the BW infocubes to be queried , during the dataloads ?
2/Is there an easy way to automatically inform each line of business (PCA/COPA,...) that they can confidently start their reporting ?

Yes Check if the Note works as suggested.which should solve the ABAP program error issue identified by SAP ..but if it does not work and if this is always happening for first item you entered and saves....then its seems that this is because of duplicate save event / save process event as subsequent event configured for save process event / save event in global event framework DBM customization this which triggers duplicate reservation update event as the changes are committed at the end of even.
