Re: Skip mandatory BEx prompts in Design studio

Hi Krishna

 

I did create a query with a mandatory variable fro 0CALYEAR. Then created a Design Studio App based on the query. My Data Source is defined as Load in Script: false.

 

I do populate my variable in my app On Variable Initialization event:

APPLICATION.setVaraibleValue("0P_CALYE"."2012");

 

Also my app Force Prompt at startup is set to false.

 

When I execute my app on the BI Platform, prompts are not shown at startup and query result set is produced for the value ("2012") I set at On Variable Initialization event.

 

If I change my app Force Prompt at startup is set to true. Then prompts are shown on startup and the variable is pre-populated with the value I set at On Variable Initialization event.

 

Check the syntax of your setVariableValue statements as parameters order seems to be incorrect. First parameter is the variable technical name then the value you would like to set.

BBP_PO_SAVE_XML_47A and BBP_PO_SAVE_XML

Hi All

 

I am currently checking if purchase order details can be converted to XML . I have found 2 FMs BBP_PO_SAVE_XML and BBP_PO_SAVE_XML_47A . I have not found any documentation and any useful help on google .

Can anyone please help if these FM's can be used to convert PO data into XML ? I only see different internal tables related to PO in this FM.

Please share some helpful code if anyone has worked on it .

Hello

 

Kindly check in the Payroll results tables transaction code PC_PAYRESULT.

 

I think the usual NI calculation should be in NIRA/CNIC cannot remember and the reporting for RTI will be stored in other tables.

May this is a good point to start your inverstiagtion.

System not showing already posted values for special gl indicator field while using spacebar

After EHP 7 upgrade we are facing this issue specifically for Special gl indicator field.


Suppose we are posting entry using F-53 and we have to post around 100 entries in a flow then, values are not populating specifically for special gl indicator field.


All other fields like document date, posting date etc are showing previously used data(shown in screen shot attached) but when trying space bar option to select special gl indicator values, system is not showing any value. Every time user has to enter specific value to be used for entry.

 

Is there some specific setting for this as History option is on for every user.Capture for f-53.JPGCapture for f-53 2.JPG

can you please let me know what should be maintained in MRP-4 view for Selection criteria , currently it is left blank.

Check in the table FAGLFLEXT, here time stamp field is there. If you go through this field first 8 digits are YYYY/MM/DD in the format and rest is time format HH/MM/SS. Based on this you can find out when it was run.

yup. i posted as it is and i have checked in fbl3n. i got entry as per requirement.I think the important thing is that, we should select central invoice option in withholding tax type(posting) and field status of GL and posting keys.

Dear,

 

In SAP we have options in MRP-4 view.

 

I request you to select the option as per your busines requirement.at this stage This is completely your bussiness scope as per production versions etc..

 

SAP functionality as per your selection behaves as follows:

  • With Selection by order quantity, the system chooses the alternative BOM into whose lot size range the order quantity falls. The lot size range and area of validity of the BOM apply.

  • With Selection by explosion date, the system chooses the alternative BOM into whose area of validity the date falls according to the setting BOM via dates.

  • With Selection by production version, the system chooses the alternative BOM defined in the valid production version. The lot size range and area of validity of the production version apply.

  • With Selection only by production version, the system chooses the alternative BOM defined in the valid production version. The lot size range and area of validity of the production version apply.
    If no production version is found, no production orders or process orders can be created.

What are the best practices for inventory management of high value drilling material like Drilling bits, down hole equipment etc, in the OIL and GAS production industry. These materials including drilling bits that have a limited shelf life and are reusable, hence can be issued once and then returned to be taken back in stock / inventory.

Schedule line item and MIGO

Hi,

          I want to develop some Z report in that the requirement is for which schedule line item the MIGO has done, so how do I show this, based on this I need to show vendor ratings.


For Example: For line item 10 there might be any number of schedule line items. So MIGO will be done for that particular line item not for schedule line Item. So how can relate this quantity has been done for this particular schedule line item and display.

 

This requirement is pending from so long please suggest on this standard program is also OK.

Weekends exclusion in SAP BW

Hi,

 

We have a requirement to calculate the difference between 2 dates.

The weekends should not be included, they must be excluded in the calculation.

We have the FM RKE_SELECT_FACTDAYS_FOR_PERIOD to calculate the difference between dates excluding the weekends based on factory calendar in ECC and CRM system. But unfortunately this FM is not available in the SAP BW system. Please let me know if there is any such FM available in the SAP BW system.

    what you said is not appropriate for me,the situation is when i create\update\delete a new row data ,i will do some check with the data,when i get the wrong message,i export it to the front end with UI5...

Hi Inaki,

 

i have used parameter which you suggested above ..then request and response logs are showing in monitoring tool.

but request showing DLVD and response message showing cancelled status. is that ok?

 

i am thinking fault message case we should get application error.

 

also below are the observations.

 

when i tried to test message through wsnavigator tool.i could see timeout error also after i used above parameter though in monitoring tool logs were appeared.
