Thanks guys for the input.
Yeah thats whats also stated in the SAP Help - however not explicitly.
But I getting more and more there to believe I should not restrict the job to any application.
Unless anyone else says so
@Ramanjaneyulu: BPBW / BUPA are the applications you can restrict the program.
The rest is pretty clear to me - but thanks for the input.
Cheers.
Ludo,
The standard ChaRM report /TMWFLOW/REPORTINGN will display the link between Incidents, Request for Changes and Changes. Unfortunately, you only see the links by clicking on the chain link icon.
Not finding any other standard report for this, we finally had a developer write a custom report to display the 'top-down' view of Incident/Problem with all the linked RCs and CDs.

Hi,
Already seen the SAP notes andI did not think that applies, evaluating report to SAP...

Issue solved in SP6
You have to recreate it in SP4. No other go as backward compatibity is not supported
Hi,
I have modified the coding and attached. Please import it. you need to work from step Specify Files becaue i have modified the file path.
If you again get any other error ( i tested and working fine in my system now. eventhough the system did not capture techincal name for few fields so i have defined my own) than follow the below procedure
The reason for the problem:- system is trying to post before filling the field details (same logice will apply for backround also). Always the BDC Post OK code will be at the end with default values. So only those default field values will be filled in the KB31N before posting (other fields will not get updated but system will try to update after post function. so the screen will not available during that time. so system will show the message). All the recorded fields will not be filled with details.
Solution:-
Just press enter before posting the transaction ( during recording before choosing save button)
It will capture all the recorded fields with the scession name. Your problem (the batch input exist for the screen ) will be resolved.

vijay
I wouldn't recommend that.
When you create a copy of a report, it has a new CUID. Therefore even if you SAVE AS, you're really only renaming/copying the report. Next time you won't be able to promote it as the CUIDs won't match. The instances won't belong to that main report as it would have a different CUID.
The best way to get this working is to apply the code fix - as Matthew said, it's a bug - therefore the fix is in SP07.

Hi,
Here is a wonderful document on Unit conversion. Please understand this document and try to achieve your requirement. Take ABAPer's help to code if required.

Prakhar,
I did see that note, but I think that I am not understanding what they are referring to by the term <method filter>. Is that the name of the action?

Hi Jun,
I have seen this link several times, but it is incomplete in my opinion. It does not explain what are appropriate values for
wdisp/J2EE/group_info_location and wdisp/J2EE/url_map_location
This link makes it sound like they should be set to some file path. Can this file just be any file on the master node in the cluster? Or, does it have to go in a specific folder on every server in the cluster?
From the same link, I'm guessing the /usr/sap/RL3/SYS/profile/DEFAULT.PFL would have two lines in it like the following:
#-----------------------------------------------------------------------
# Custom Parameters
#-----------------------------------------------------------------------
wdisp/J2EE/group_info_location= file://usr/sap/RL3/SYS/profile/group_info_location.cfg
wdisp/J2EE/url_map_location= file://usr/sap/RL3/SYS/profile/url_map_location.cfg
And then each of these files would be created and maybe look like (based on the default values):
/sap/public
/icf_info
/icr_groups
/security-service
Would this be correct for intercepting all REST calls of the form "http://rl3nw74:50000/security-service/...". Why do they have the same default values (what is the difference/purpose of each these parameters)? Is the following screen show a properly configure "logon group" given the above examples?
I think that's pretty well documented if you do a search or look around here. There are few books on that also.
On personal rant, The problem is not the user interace it is your convoluted business process that is making your system unfriendly and your user's unwillingless to enter a minimal amount of data causing the problem.
Sorry but a business process can't be a simple as a facebook or twitter post, because those only capture one data element. On the otherhand it is extremely ridiculous to expect people to remember how to enter 30+ fields as part of a process they only do occassionally. I don't care what UI you are using you won't solve your problems.
However the problems are that companies want to not invest in training $$$ on their employees for complex processes and employees feel entitled that work stuff needs be as easy as using social media. IMHO the SAP GUI is very efficient in doing repeated work, if you are properly trained and not too hard if you spend some effort. I'm sorry but tell your younger employees who complain about UI that if they don't like it we can switch back to 3270 terminal emulation(cloud based of course .
That being said if UI is really an issue, then go for the SAP Customer on Demand solution(pretty darn impressive I must admit) and it has a better UI than salesforce.com .
Take care,
Stephen
Hello,
In my company, we have two parallel BW systems. The first is in version 7.03 and the second is 7.30. I want to copy every query, created with Bex - Query Designer, from the oldest server to the newest. Those systems are not connect and I cannot do transports.
Is there a way to do it automaticaly instead to copy each of them one by one?
Thanks!
Hi,
Installed HANA revision 66 and encountered the following error when building application:

Please refer to attached text file for full erro message.
Same error was experienced in HANA revision 64 but built successfully against Revision 62 (but with unit tests failures, which is a different issue).
Any idea what is causing the above error?
We urgently need to move to a recent version of HANA SP06 as we currently on Revision 56 (SP05).
Best regards
Joe Roberts
Hello Glen,
Sorry. What if I don't use EWM? Where should I put the field in ECC?
I was afraid you were going to say that!
I don't know a specific place to put these, but you can look Tcode: POP1 - Create Packing Instruction for a solution. This isn't used at WM, this is for SD and used while in delivery change mode(VL02N)>>packing.
I may not help further on this.
Best regards
Serhan
Hi Max,
If you still have this issue, please implement the note 1710170. It works for me.
Best regards,
Nicolas
1. FM is executing perfectly.
2.Fm is not triggering when trying to determine the approver . It is reading from OM structure only.
3. Format of the approver is also ok .It worked till 2 days back which is till our Support pack upgradation to dev and production server.

Praveen
