Thanks for the quick reply. As I said in the message the occurrence is set at 0..1. I understand that to mean the element is optional which is why I've raised this here as it doesn't make sense for the mapping to fire if there is no source element tag present in the payload.
Thanks
Mark
The barcode normally represents a value field in the sap script, e.g. sales order number, etc. Just print the value field under the barcode using a standard paragraph format (not barcode format).
Matthew, can I hit 'Like' a bunch of times on this one? You nailed it.

Hello Mika,
We're currently implementing SAP BCM with SAP PI Integration Package for SWIFT.
And having the same troubles with the parameter file to create/customize it in BCM throught the transaction OBPM1.
We know we need to do: as Mika describes above:
File structure is like below (no separators between fields):
field1#value1field2#value2field3#value3<xml... payload is correct ... >
What we did:
Parameter type --> FTA
External format description --> PAIN.001.001.03
Struct. for format parameter --> BNK_FPM_SWIFT
But where we customize all the other fields required?
Could you help me telling me how you solved it?
Thanks in advance,
Best Regards,
Daniel Romero
Absolutely worked in my case.
If there is data in the BW system for a year e.g. X then the fiscal variant should be maintained in the T009B table for the X – 1 year as well.
Thanks Simon.

Hi all
Just need some clarification on versions/which & where to download.
I need to do a system copy using the export/import method. The target system will be a fresh build.
The source system is ECC6 EHP4 SP5 (Oracle 11.2.0, Linux).
My first question is, where do I download the software from? Is it:
Installations and Upgrades - E -> SAP ERP -> SAP ERP 6.0
or, as ECC6 EHP4 is based on Netweaver 7.0 EHP1, is it:
Installations and Upgrades - E -> SAP ERP -> SAP ERP 6.0 -> SAP NETWEAVER 7.0
(note that "Installations and Upgrades - N -> SAP NETWEAVER -> SAP NETWEAVER 7.0" is identical to the second one above which confirms that ERP/ECC6 is the relevant version for Netweaver 7)
These seem to be quite different!
Secondly, I understand that although ECC6 comes with NW 7.0 EHP1 and is ECC6 EHP4 'ready', you still need to separately apply EHP4.
I've read that you need Solution Manager to apply EHPs, is there a way round this? This will be a standalone, read only system for audit purposes and there is no Solution Manager!
Thirdly, if I'm doing a SAPinst/R3load (or maybe I could use the newer SWPM/SUM tool?) and importing from a source on EHP4 then that will effectively be pulled in?!? Not sure about that one... but then again... it's all at database level, right? So maybe I don't need to worry about doing an EHP upgrade?
Cheers!
Ross
RE: 1079
Rohit,
We also have the same issue with Part III with employees change companies. Let me know when you get a reply from SAP. We have discovered other errors with the dependent info in part III an decided to correct it in the BADI.
Thanks,
Marty
HI Charles
This is an expected behavior. Once a Visualization is inserted into a story, it essentially becomes a snapshot of the Visualization and all connections between the visualization and the Story are severed. Only way to have the new / modified Visualization show up in the Story is to re-insert it.

OK, I see what you're trying to do now. Try this please:
if Average({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fBasilGarlic}) <> 0
Then
(
numberVar AvgSum := Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fBasilGarlic}) ;
numberVar AvgCount := 1;
);
if Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fCiliantro}) <> 0
then
(
numberVar AvgSum := AvgSum + Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fCiliantro}) ;
numberVar AvgCount := AvgCount + 1;
);
if Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fFruitBalance}) <> 0
then
(
numberVar AvgSum := AvgSum + Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fFruitBalance}) ;
numberVar AvgCount := AvgCount + 1;
) ;
if Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fGarlic}) <> 0
then
(
numberVar AvgSum := AvgSum + Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fGarlic}) ;
numberVar AvgCount := AvgCount + 1;
) ;
if Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fHeat}) <> 0
then
(
numberVar AvgSum := AvgSum + Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fHeat}) ;
numberVar AvgCount := AvgCount + 1;
) ;
if Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fSalt}) <> 0
then
(
numberVar AvgSum := AvgSum + Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fSalt}) ;
numberVar AvgCount := AvgCount + 1;
) ;
if Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fSour}) <> 0
then
(
numberVar AvgSum := AvgSum + Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fSour}) ;
numberVar AvgCount := AvgCount + 1;
) ;
if Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fSweet}) <> 0
then
(
numberVar AvgSum := AvgSum + Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fSweet}) ;
numberVar AvgCount := AvgCount + 1;
) ;
if Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fTomatoBalance}) <> 0
then
(
numberVar AvgSum := AvgSum + Average ({procGetSensoryFlavorMonthlyTestResults;1.fTomatoBalance}) ;
numberVar AvgCount := AvgCount + 1;
) ;
AvgSum / AvgCount;

Hello Mark,
no. Dynamic Tiering Hosts can be added to HANA Appliances and TDI set ups. Adding a Dynamic Tiering Host to an appliance will not "convert" it to a TDI, because you do not exchange the "standard" storage system for the appliance.

Hi Stewart,
We had a requirement for some HL7 processing this past summer and had to move it from our old EDI platform to our new PO 7.4 system. I was able to download all the .xsd files from hl7.org and I used the HAPI open source library to perform the conversion into the expected XML format. I had to import several archives for the HAPI libraries and then I wrote a java mapping to use the HAPI libraries to do the HL7 -> XML conversion and then from there I can easily do whatever else is necessary with all the standard PI tools.

Hi Raghunath,
Upgrading the SAPJVM is never a good option and it is recommended to never update it manually.All the servers runs on the Custom created Java provided by SAP which is SAPJVM. If you wanted to upgrade the Java you can upgrade the Server.
You can check the below KBA to check which SAPJVM is provided with Bundled Service Packs :

Hi Swapnil,
Thanks for the reply. In this same requirement I have to pass the parameter in the opendoc functionality to get the data for the chosen month. For eg:
Region Reporting Period Fact1 Fact2
North 012015 1000 700
North 022015 1000 300
Now, I have the hyperlink in the fact column number. If I select 700 in Fact2 column, it pulls up the detail report for 1000 for North region and it gives value for both the month Jan and Feb. But I need to have only for the selected month. If the user select the multiple month in the Summary report, it pulls up fact numbers for each month but if they select the fact for particular month they want to see only the selected month detail. I am missing something in passing the parameter. Please do help me in
="<a href=\"../../opendoc/openDocument.jsp?iDocID=FkyTYFZt8QUALAUAAED5AVIIAFBWijvI&sIDType=CUID&sType=wid&lsMpmRGN="+URLEncode(""+[Region])+"&lsMpmCIN=Y&lsSpsSD="+URLEncode(UserResponse("Enter First day of the Month"))+"&lsSpsED="+RelativeDate(ToDate(UserResponse("Enter Last Day of the Month"); "M/d/yyyy hh:mm:ss A");1)+"
Thank you,

Tomas,
I think I found it.... instead of cl_bcs use CL_BCS_MESSAGE. This does not commit nothing until you call send method and you have choice if you want to do it in update task (method SET_UPDATE_TASK). During save method it checks if you want update task or not and then it calls FM SBCS_SEND or SBCS_SEND_UPDATE. Seems like no wrapper function is needed for that (as long you don't want to pimp this class).
Example of usage can be found in program RSBCS_EXAMPLE_EMAIL.
Hi All,
When an employee is applying for leave for a specific absence type the quotas are getting negative deducted. In ESS, employee is applying for a leave and manager is approving the leave. And when we checked PT50 negative hours are showing against the specificity absence and quota type.
No where in the configuration negative deduction hours are mentioned. But when we checked PT50 negative hours are shown.
Can anyone please guide on how to resolve the issue.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks,
Sai
