FI+COPA posting through external data transfer
Hi CO Gurus
I want to post FI document for data coming through an interface. Interface will run once at end of business hours and transfer huge volume of records to SAP. I am planning to use BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST. My query is-
1.) Can I use BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST to generate COPA document as well apart from FI Document ? I have multiple characteristics, and I will like to update some characteristics with value coming from interface. Can this be done using BAPI ? Please provide more technical information about how to achieve this in system.
2.) If I have a characteristic WWDOC, Will I be able to update this field at run time through BAPI ? If Yes, how ??
3.) In scenario of data transfer from interface, will "PA Transfer structure" be able to transfer amount to value fields ??
I have searched existing forums on this topic, but I could not find conclusive answer. Please provide feedback.

Hi,
both notes mentioned by Moacir are necessary to be checked for all the material replication issues.
Meanwhile I would recommend you check the error logs using trx smw01 to see if there is error reported while doing initial download for materials and services.
Please also check if there is any stuck entry for material replication in SMQ1 (ECC) and SMQ2(SRM).

You want have just org.chart to view subordinates for managers in MSS ?
OR You want perform the actions on org.chart like creation of positions / change /deletion etc ?
Here you have to understand few points.
in MSS Addon 1.0 from EHP5, there is a component called EMBEDED Orgchart which comes free in MSS. This looks like nakisa view. in this you can't perfrom create / change /delete etc. it's just a view of org structure for manager to view all his subordinates.
Nakisa is sap's 3rd party application. In Nakisa, orgchart applications are different, here managers can perform create / change /delete of positions or orgunits etc. It is not free of cost. its required license. And Nakisa is not required separate server. You can deploy all Nakisa components in your current EP portal itself.
Workforce viewer is the latest functionality which is part of HR Renewals of EHP6/7. May be this is also required some license. I am not sure. since it's having professional, managers etc roles.

maybe the workaround mentioned in the note 2063926 helps "As a workaround, you can configure your browser to open the portal in the compatibility mode, as described in SAP Note 1458799."

This was concatenated with the dynamic value that I got from ECC and passed to the access field

Co Retraction BPC to ECC
Hi Gurus,
Actually im new to Retraction from BPC to ECC. I followed How Guide Pdf and Created filter and BADi.
What is my issue is, when check the standard BAPI its giving message as shown in Pic. Please help me on this.. Do we need to Activate the BAdi Manually or ?.
And in How to Guide they said we need to give web application Parameter.. Im bit confusing where to give this parameter in BPC 10.0
and what should be give in this l_appl_param ,, presently we are giving our destination client ECC dev.
Please help on above issues.

Hi Kim,
Do note that CR Server supports two flavors of Crystal Reports - Crystal Reports 2013 (the legacy CR Designer) and CR for Enterprise (the new CR Designer).
Both do the same job however, work best with 'certain' types of datasources.
For e.g. if you intend to report off of SAP Sources like BEx queries or Relational Universes, you might want to use CR for Enterprise.
If you intend to report off of Relational databases, CR 2013 is still the best tool (although CR for Enterprise also supports them now).
Please have a look at this wiki for more info on these two flavors:
Regarding the .bclp issue - CR for Enterprise supports building reports from a browser based interface however, it needs the software (CR for Enterprise Designer) to be installed on the machine you're building the report from. Once you install this product, the .bclp error should disappear.
CR for Enterprise can only be downloaded from the Service Market Place and you need an 'S-User ID' to log on. You should get this as soon as you purchase the Server Product.
Also, if you purchase CR 2013, you should be able to use the license key with CR for Enterprise as well.

How to avoid empty file generation in BODS
Hi BODS Gurus,
I am very new to BODS area. Right now we are using BODS to extract data from HANA Calculation views and generated flat files.
One of the client requirement is to restrict the file generation, if there is no data. But now the BODS is by default generating a file with a header and 0 rows. Please help to get any setting to be maintained for this requirement.
