What does the command 'hostname' returns? If it returns only the host name (and not the Fully Qualified Domain Name) then everything is fine and the installation can continue.

SAPLBTCH is a function pool which means that when ever any one calls certain function module in this function group you will see it in SM50.
What it looks to me that when a user tried to submit a backgroung job and then the job used this function fool to get all the details and that is the point where it is hanging.(Just a thought)
Can only confirm when you go an check what is being submitted in SM37.
So if this assumption is correct then can you please provide more details when this started. Any changes that were done to the system.
try to run db stat so that you don't see any sequancial reads in there.
Is it oracle used the below command.
brconnect -u / -c -f stats -t all -f collect
So please provide more input to check more.

Did you check the field of "X-plant material status" or "Plant-specific material status" on Basic data 1 or MRP 1 view in material master data? If setting the status of MRP disallowed, then you should get the termination message (group 8) after MRP run, and no MRP list generated either!

xsengine returns the javascript source code instead of results of operation
Hi Experts
We are on Rev 66 on AWS.
We have run into this problem multiple times. Every now and then, a request such as
http://host:8000/xsjs/p1.xsjs?qp=value
returns the p1.xsjs file verbatim instead of executing it on the xsengine and returning the outcome.
While this is going on, most other requests to the same p1.xsjs work just fine. With browser F12, I can see the headers returned when it works:

Content-Length 2341
Content-Type application/json; charset=utf-8
Expires 0
Proxy-Connection Keep-alive
Set-Cookie xsSessionId=5D038498A25C3B46BE94F7C9A287DEB6; path=/xsjs; HttpOnly sapxslb=3F4805FA11E3C9468DE89EA410E2C7AA; path=/xsjs; HttpOnly
It also exposes the server side source code :-(
We end up restarting HANA, adding a blank line to the xsjs code and reactivating it. Sometimes it corrects itself after some time. There is nothing in dev_webdisp or dev_icm_sec trace files a the time of these errors.
I will appreciate your help in discovering and plugging whatever is causing this.

I used statistical cost element for B/S accounts (mainly Inventory) a couple of times and never experienced any problems.
However please be aware of SAP note 75978 - Cost element type 90.

In standard with auto GR, you cannot declare yield as 400 and expect the system to post GR for 1000 quantities. You can restrict the last operation confirmation to allow only single final confirmation using an exit whereas other operations can be confrmed partially.

Well, I could define the handler in the controller - however on click of the button - i need to create the dialog layout & its element on the fly. So i kept the dialog content creation in the view itself ?

Capacity check in production order & planned order
Hi,
I am trying to do capacity check in production order / planned order but it seems the system doesn't check the remaining available capacity on the work center instead system checks againts total available capacity.
We are using scheduling type : only capacity requirement.
When I created planned order for a particular date, with capacity requirement is 10 H, system says the capacity is available, but if i go to capacity analysis in planned order i see there is overload because I only have 9 H remaining (Total available capacity is 100 H but has been reserved for 91 H)
In IMG (definie checking control), I have activate capacity check and maintain SAPSFCG013 as overall profile.
I also maintain finite sheduling and capacity leveling overall profile SAPSFCG001 in production scheduling profile.
Please advise

After 2009 means @ time of full load from dso to cube I think you have created Full DTP?
Inyour case when you first time executing delta DTP it will pick all records because you are not
initilized delta after full load to cube.
Instead of full DTP from DSo to cube use Delta DTP @ first time only so that for future request it will pick delta only.
Try this it will work.

Now my questions is i have Negative values also and i can handle this using this format.
I tried various my keeping - sign in the format but no luck.
Let me know how i can handle - negative values using this format.
Ex: -52269256 to be converted to -5226.00

Check on the database host if /oracle/<SID>/112_64 exist.
sometimes in (7.31) the installer looks for /oracle/<SID>/11203
Try creating a link /oracle/<SID>/11203 -> /oracle/<SID>/112_64 or otherway (not remember from top of my head) /oracle/<SID>/112_64 -> /oracle/<SID>/11203
and continue the installer. Hope that should work (sometime we overlook obvious things)

I am Venkatesh, completed my B.Sc CS in Bangalore university in 2005 but i have 2 back logs in final year but after my completion the next year they changed the syllabus and i could not completed till now i was working in BPO as network admin. Now i joined in SAP-BASIS course after that i can try in internal job posting for Basis in my company. if i have atleast another 4yrs experience then i can join outside with my degree. now i am planning to do distance education in B.Tech (IT) in KSOU or any other university or please suggest me any valuable university or else For B.Sc or BCA please suggest any Distance Learning university which has more valuable. If i do B.tech IT in Distance whether it has value or not.
Also please confirm if i complete my degree in distance learning or correspondence is that degree has value or worth.
My dream is settle in SAP. I am fearing whether i will not get in SAP due to my age. Now my age is 29yrs. In SAP domain is there any age restriction for job.
Kindly advice some valuable universities in India or South India (KA, TN, AP)
