1. As far as the S/4 HANA version 1511, its not possible to activate Waste management and Occupational Health in S/4 HANA. Please have a look at the notes 2217202 for waste management and 2217205 for Occupational Health. We have to wait for the newer versions of SAP S/4 HANA to be released.
2. Still if we need to implement these sub modules in S/4 HANA might be we need to approach the custom code process which might increase the work of technical team.

Still have one doubt like if the same Valuated material (Quantity + Value update ON) is Quality managed then while doing MIGO , it is able to create Inspection Lot but unable to show storage location field editable, hence after posting stock quantity is not showing in Inventory.
Please suggest further.

if there is a conflict of absence, it ll be hard error! we dont allow overlapping absence or attendance, even rptarqpost will just report hard collision error. Collision check like PA30 wont be available, it just present error in ESS or in backed report as i explained earlier.

Hi All,
I have figured out a way to do this, term for this is cascading prompt which works fine, which gives me prompt 1 and sales category associated to that.
it is now coming as Prompt 1 = 1 then sales category is coming up as cat 1 and cat2.
What I want to do is now if I fill data in prompt 1 then sale cat should 1 by default without user entering the value. and when I don't enter anything then sales cat should be empty.
I am setting up default value as cat 1. When I fill prompt 1 then that works fine but when not selecting anything for prompt 1 as sales cat is set to cat 1 it is filtering all the data by that.
how to solve this

"H2 second Hierarchy in Time dimension" - I don't think it's a right way. To my mind second hierarchy in TIME dimension is not supported well and will create a lot of issues.

Project Forecasting BPC
Hi
We have been reviewing the forecasting options within and outside of SAP. We have high volume of projects working in integration with PS NW and massive amount of PM Work Orders directly assigned to WBS elements. (PM Orders are not linked with NW activities)
We would like to run it at a higher level (i.e. L1 WBS) and we would like to split the cost estimations/forecasting for monthly levels. Based on these requirements, we checked couple of options including some 3rd Party products and also SAP PS Forecasting WB, and BPC. (I have reviewed this nice piece on that topic as well which is quite useful: Architecture and functionality of extended project management tools for SAP PS )
We decided to use BPC for this purpose and would like to learn more about the issues/experiences on using BPC for Projects Forecasting. I know complexity depends on the volume, type of projects etc. But we mostly are interested in the potential areas which we need to spend more time etc.

For those who are looking for having extension parameters in BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE please implement below 2 SAP notes in the order mentioned.
1. 2151416 - Preparatory note for SAP note 2108975
2. 2108975 - Maintenance of customer fields using BAPIs of the maintenance notification.
You can implement these automatically. For first note only 1 manual task is there to execute the program generated after implementation.
Regarding how to use BAPI extension please refer Update extension QMEL ( CI_QMEL ) by function | SCN.

Fuzzy search logic support alphanumeric
Hi All,
I am very new to HANA. I want some information regarding the FUZZY Search logic.
There is scenario for i want to search a words like A and C, or alternatively B and C.My search parameter has to be AC OR BC. Now the question is if i can use brackets in the search like ("A OR B") C. Please let me know if this scenario can support the FUZZY search logic.

It seems LDAP authentication(LDAP server details) is configured so go to CMC - > authentication - > LDAP. remove the groups there and click update - it will rebuild the LDAP tree when you click update.. and restart the CMS also.
