Stop ATP when using BAPI_SALESORDER_UPDATE

Hi all

   I am using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE to upate the GI Date on the schedule lines of the sales order. Once the dates are updated, the system is carrying out the ATP/Availability check and reverting back the dates updated through BAPI to what they were before the update. SO I dont want the avialability check to be carried out when using the BAPI.

   Is there a way to suppress the availability check when using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE. I tried using LOGIC_SWITCH-ATP_WRKMOD field with space and A, but it didn't work.

Any inputs would be highly appreciated and rewarded.
