Hi all, I configured a new status profile for a sales document ITEM and want to stop user from editing the item once the status is changed to 'Close'. I have tried with Business Transaction 'Edit' (forbidden is set) and 'No Change Allowed' (allowed is set) but the system still allows me to update the sale item. These are the business transaction configured under Transaction Control. Can I find out what other areas I might have missed out?
Please note that with or without the configuration of the business transaction to block updates, the system will close off certain fields for update, e.g. Quantity field.
I know my last resort is to use the BADI but I understand that this is achievable via configuration but it somehow did not work for me. I read in other posts that people mentioned about 'Change document' but I cannot find this transaction in the list given in the configuration.
Lastly, just wondering whether the business transaction field for 'User Status Triggers Business Transaction' has any impact on what I am trying to achieve? I have assigned 'FINI' in this case.
