Vegard,

As you say, the obvious way to solve this problem is through alternate sales Unit/M. It would seem to me that a warehouse should have no problem with picking/packing/shipping the same material using two different U/M; this is one of the main functions of warehousing.  However, you seem to think that your warehouse people can't handle this.

 

Since that is off the table, then I would say that the most common way to turn one material into another material is through a production order.  You put your ratios into the BOM.  1 B = .1 A.

Unfortunately the thread is very old, eg table /IWFND/L_MET_COL is not filled in our gateway hub NW 7.40 system and is does not mention transaction or program to run to see if we are compliant with our license rules (External service calls are HTTP requests per calendar year which are processed by SAP NetWeaver Gateway Server

The solution was only to update the BADI "MAT_SELECTION_CK" and to change the fields in F_MACK3: STLAL and STLAN (Not the F_MACK3-FVIDK).

Hi Nithin,

                  Use an adapter module in  receiver communication channel.

This custom adapter module will check the target directory before any file is appended. It will know which file name to check and the directory where to check. In case the file is existing it will delete the header line from the payload else will write the contents as it is.

Hi,

 

You have misunderstood me.

 

Let me put it in a business scenario for you.

 

The person on receivables is currently waiting for bank statements to be uploaded and posted in the system before has can allocate it to customer accounts.

 

However, this causes 2 problems for him. Firstly, the bank statement needs to uploaded/posted - this means he may have to wait for it to be posted before reflected in the receivables accounts. Secondly, bank statements are 1 day behind as todays transactions cannot be posted until day is over.

 

Therefore, there must be a way to recognise a manual incoming receipt on a receivables ledger (as there is an option to recognise a manual outgoing payment on receivables ledger). (see attached screen shot). Which can then be matched to a bank statement when it is created via payment allocation/monitoring.

Hi, maybe a bit late for you, guys.

But I didn't find an answer, so I had to investigate:

"Application server host cannot be null or empty" error in configuration wizard means there is a problem with accessing SLD.

Make sure system you are configuring is connected to SLD and "Collect data and send" works.

 

In my case it was after PI upgrade from 7.00 to 7.40 (still dual stack).

While ABAP's instance SLD connect worked fine, Java's not.

Solution was adaptation of SCS profile MS parameters - un-hash:

#ms/standalone = 1

#ms/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=81$$

Where are you triggering data from soap UI is it pi server or local desktop?  If local then I guess you are being restricted to send message to PI server.

Good news, DEV has been able to duplicate the issue also so I'll create a dummy case in BCP and excalate to DEV for a fix.

 

It may be too late to get into SP 16, depending on how much of an issue it is. But they did confirm it is a problem in both Outlook 2010 and 2013 as well as CR 2011 and 2013.

In our system we are not using the Price date control in PO.

Please suggest me if there are any Functional module/BAPI to pick up the pricing date from service order created date rather than PO date.

Sorting a dropbown bound to a datasource

Hi,

 

Has anyone tried with success sorting a dropbown box that is mapped using the bound functionality?

 

I am using DS 1.6, and trying to map the fiscal year (0FISCYEAR) through a bex query using the bound functionality, but the script to sort the values descending does not seem to work - DROPDOWN_1.sort(false);

 

I also attempted to do the sorting in the initial view, but it remained the same.

 

I tried with 0CALYEAR, same behaviour.

 

Using manual values, it works. So I'm guessing this is some kind of limitation when using the bound functionality, but I was wondering if someone could confirm this.

UPDATE: It is possible to sort if you set the sort within the BEx query - this makes sense, but still shouldn't it be possible to override this sorting either in the initial view or through script?

Thanks Midhun, i am trying that approach as well as you suggested yesterday. I am currently setting up my environment for Cloud SAP Web IDE with HAT.

 

But still my questions remains same, What is recommended approach by SAP to build the Cordova App using SAPUI5 libs locally?

 

Because if i download & copy the SAPUI5 runtime libs from Service Marketplace to my Cordova App, it will ask for all those JS files (shown below) which are available in OpenUI5 libs, but again its not recommended to use the JS files of OpenUI5 libs in the SAPUI5 lib.

Hi Petra,

 

It is not possible to create a new quotation by copying an existing sales order.

The copy action is only for Same Business Objects (e.g. Quote to Quote, Opportunity to Opportunity, Sales Order to Sales Order).

SAP introduced this in about release 4.7 "Enterprise". So it is intentional, I am pretty sure, that debugging foreign work processes is classed as change mode being the correct authorization level to check.

 

The same applies to debugging background jobs in SM37.

 

Only external break-points and RFC debugging seem to have been spared the stricter check. That might however also be your solution -> change WF-BATCH to SERVICE type user, set a break-point in your own application and then switch to the system debugger and F5 into the WORKFLOW destination.
