Dear Experts,

 

I have a requirement to read files from SAP Archive link and display the list of files in a UI5 application. Then, upon clicking on the file name, I should be able to display the file content within the application or download those files to the local desktop or mobile device of the user. The files could be of any format like text files, docx, pdf, jpeg etc.

 

I am trying something very similar to the below sample application created using sap.m.UploadCollection. Nevertheless, I don't have the requirement to upload file but rather display already stored files in an external repository through SAP Archive Link:

 

SAPUI5 Explored

 

The Archive link gives the file content in Raw format and also provides the mime type. I have created my oData service to expose the files and its content in raw format(if required can be converted to xString).

 

Could you please advise if sap.m.UploadCollection can be used for my purpose? If so, it would be of great help if you could provide some code snippets for the same.

 

If this control cannot be used, what could be an alternative?

Hi Daljeet,

 

Try using the Advanced List pane from the toolbox. It gives a table structure.

Bind the fields to the table. This should do.

I see that, theorically, I can capture a part of the regular expression with parenthesis to use it as the replacement string:

 

( ... )

Capturing parentheses. Range of input that matched the parenthesized subexpression is available after the match.

 

As I see in the documentation, the <replacement string> is the 3rd one but I still can't find how to represent it to work, what to put at the left of the "2":

 

• regex_replace($Word_In, '^([A-Z]+) ([A-Z]+) ([A-Z]+)$', '\2', null);

 

I've tried some symbols ("/2", "\2", "$2", ...) and it doesn't work. I think the documentation doesn't mention it...

Any idea to represent it?

Yes, this is my workaround now too - but not that nice at this leads now to the warning

 

java.sql.SQLWarning: Not recommended feature: DDL statement is used in Dynamic SQL (current dynamic_sql_ddl_error_level = 1)

which doesn't look nice and isn't documented at all how to circumvent. Well at least it works :) Thanks for your answer!

My client do the bar code scanning for the MES system. So  one popup screen will open with co11n t.code. Here he will enter the production order and operation. Sysstem will open the goods movement tab.

 

I need a how to prepare the process document with backflush quantity consumption.. I have sceen so many links in google. But i am unable to find that.

 

So.. i want to prepare the document which shows how to goods movemt will be gappend between SAP and MES with movement type.

 

Please share me any one this type of this documnt for the below mail id.

We are using route determination without TU.

 

Suppose my 3 HUs are going through same route to different customer .

 

How to arrange the HU loading sequence so that HU for nearest customer will be loaded at end .

Change the url to your url and put a break point here :

 

 

 

What is the content of field "response_string_1"  ?

 

You wrote "i got a numbers of records with ',' delimiter on browser."

 

You need to write a code to parse those records.

 

Do a google using search operators:  site:scn.sap.com  parse csv file

Hello Experts,

 

Im working with EWM system .

 

When I'm doing the configuration for HU Management , system is giving below error .

 

" HU reqmt is not poss. for stor. loc./plant with decentralized w/house no. "

 

The requirement is -  When I create the Inbound Delivery for 4 materials , im packing in two boxes which need to be distributed to EWM system .

 

I have created the PO and trying to create the Delivery ( VL31N ) . Please help me .

  That is what I heard too. I seem to remember someone posting that statement in SCN last year. However, I have not been able to test & confirm that yet.

  The link I gave to the procedure I still use works perfectly evey time - even on W10, W2008R2 & W2012.

Krishna, I did try again with IBPADMIN.  What I found to be missing was some additional setup of the transport path by OSS personnel (had previously been told that work had been done, but I think I misinterpreted that message).  Once the transport path is set up by the support group, then the export button was "active" for me.

User id has been locked with error message " logon via bcuser: Password logon no longer possible -too many failed attempts" unlock the user id using the sap* or DDIC

Hello David,

 

little update from from OSS - SAP has found the root cause and we have 2 outcomes:

 

* in the new SP9 this should not happen anymore (assume fixed by redesign rather than targeted fix).

 

* SAP will NOT release a specific hotfix to address this issue in 7.0.8.100, however, it may become part of nearest CDT hotfix.  This is not guaranteed, nor ETA for the open CDT hotfix.

 

I am thinking of setting separate SP9 installation but if you are already getting to upgrade, you may check this (and share result ).

 

Frankly, I am chasing more incidents on our 7.0.8.100 integrated with CRM and do not want to kill my test environment right now...
