Tobias - have you ever tried perform the same steps, except using a text file instead of text? They should behave the same way, but looking to see if the functionality doesn't work across the board or if it's just an issue with the Text box.

Hey Erik,
I looked into this and Commons Collection was only used for the PDF Export function. Since we have removed the PDF Export function (to be replaced by Excel in 2.0.4), we no longer even use Commons Collections library and as such I have removed it completely for the next patch.

Estou com um problema ao realizar um dos passos manuais da nota 2232757.
O item 27 do documento de passos manuais diz:

Uma tarefa bem simples, porém ao realizar essas etapas ocorre o seguinte erro:
Além disso o include LJ1BWF00 fica com erro de sintaxe, pois o SAP insere nele diversos trechos de código citando a tabela/visão J_1BNFITEMRULEV, mas essa tabela/visão não existe.
Por exemplo, foi gerada a rotina GET_DATA_J_ 1BNFITEMRULEV, conforme imagem abaixo. E a linha 2644 fica com erro de sintaxe.
Já pesquisei muito a respeito e não encontrei nenhuma solução. Comparei também com outros ambientes em que já apliquei essa nota e nada faz menção a essa tabela/visão J_1BNFITEMRULEV.
Alguém sabe me ajudar?

Hi Mili, SE03 would help only if the person who made the change to role ahead of you created the transport request for his change. If he did not yet create transport request and you use SE03 you might think that yours is the only change and go ahead with moving your transport to Production. The end result being that you also moved the changes made by the person to the role ahead of you.
As Gretchen suggested, the best practice is to make sure that the role is same in Dev and Prod even before you make the change. This can be done my checking the date and time stamp of the role in Dev and Prod or by comparing the role in Dev with Prod using SUIM-> comparison of roles across system. If you find that the role in Dev is not same as in Prod, stop making your changes until you find out the reason. It could be someone making the change and sitting on it without creating transport, or it could be that the role is in test environment still being tested and not yet made to Prod. If it is the second case check with the change owner and co-ordinate with him on moving both your changes to Prod.

Re: Automatic Claim of UWL tasks no longer working
So I've been doing some more testing and I've made a discovery. Automatic claim of the tasks is still occurring on our system, if the method linked to the task is asynchronous i.e. has a terminating event.
Tasks with methods that are synchronous with no terminating event, the status is returned to ready once you cancel out of it. Once you click on the task, the status does change to started. once you x out of it, the status returns to ready.
I have done some digging and a lot of documentation is saying that you expressly have to configure the task status returning to ready (table sww_taskcust) but we have not done that. (see sap note 1708610). but yet this is what's happening..
I'm beginning to think that this is now the standard behaviour of synchronous methods. When you right click on the task, you can select an option to assign the task to yourself.
I'm thinking that now I will find a function module where I can set the status of the task and set it to reserved myself when the user selects a processing option.
What are your thoughts on above?

This is a very strange requirement. First of all, you can't have 2 parents for 1 member in BPC in same Hierarchy. If you have it in 2 hierarchies, how are you going to tell the system which one to use in each case?
I don't think this BADI is going to help you in this case.

did you get your IQ system running since last week? without the trace SAPIQDB_DIAG.log it will be difficult to help you.
the BACKUP_REQUEST_EVENT is optional, but you will want it, as this event ensures that the data which has been loaded into IQ is backed up before data is actually deleted from your BW database, this way you get access to a good point in time backup if you need to recover your IQ DB.

Forgot the 1st method as it is less secure.
Use only 2nd method, that is execute dbbackup from the secondary.

Although the topic is old, I present my problem:
I have a balance difference between MB51 and other reports (MB5B / MC.9 / MB5L / MM03) of amaterial.
In January 2015 there was an entry of merchandise in $ and not in the local currency (CLP)
When the record was made of the bill (CLP), the material ledger made automatic adjustment of the inventory account. However, it remains a difference between FI and MM when I see the MB51 against MB5L
Is there any way to fix this?

Only the target systems needs to have a public domain name.
In your case the target system is HCI so ERP does not need to have a public domain name.
If you plan to send data from C4C to ERP in that case you will need to use a public domain name like your external.company.com (and an SSL certificate from a CA trusted by SAP).
For security purposes SAP recommends to use a reverseproxy in order to prevent your ERP system to be exposed directly to the internet.

Memory Utilization,CPU,Process Utilization configuraion in SAP nwa page
Hi Experts,
Here I have requirement of collecting daily reports of System Availability (Memory utilization, CPU and process utilization in our SAP PI nwa page.
I am unaware of what all configuration need to be done in order to get the report for whole full day/working hours.
I have gone through System performance statistics and History Reports, but unable to get what all need to done.
Kindly help on the above issue.
