Hi Gaurav,
Because you have mentioned that your table is dynamically created, there may not likely be any view in your case. However, you do need to figure out in which node you are storing those table values and to that node you can apply table filter. I am quite not sure how it works with dynamic table creation. Please wait for others responses or post separate thread for the same.

We are using both TRAVEL and BUS2089. But when i try to upload documents for "Business Documents" in WD-ABAP expense report, document get uploaded however, when i look at it in transaction OAAD, I can see the document under BUS2089.
Should i do any other configuration step that would store the document under TRAVEL? I double checked configurations in OAC3 etc., and it all looks good.. but the document is still loaded under BUS2089.
Appreciate your inputs.

We added a new company code and needed to add one more signature to the TROY DIMM installed on the printed. We got a new files from TROY and installed on our existing printer. This printer is was already using this setup and print signatures and MICR code. Now after installation certains windows and signature is getting printed on second page bt in same position. MICR number is not in MICR font installed on printer.
Please let me know what am I doing wrong.
Is ABAP stack currently configured as UME datasource for Portal 7.0 ? If this is the case, you might have to upgrade your ABAP stack as well along with portal.

There are couple of main differences:
For UNV:
- Every tables MUST be part at least one or more context
- You can't have any isolated joins that are NOT part of any context
- Every join MUST be accounted for within context
For UNX:
- You now have 3-layers Business Layer / Data Foundation / Connection
- Context handled by Data Foundation layer
- New features called Include / Exclude / Neutral
- Not ALL joins need to be part context
- If the joins MUST be part of context then set them to INCLUDE
- If the joins SHOULD NOT be part of context then EXCLUDE
- If you are not sure then you can leave the joins in neutral status.

I had the same issue when I first came across PAL, however in my environment the business demand was to have the same printer name in the ECC systems (Dev/QA/Prd), to get around not being able to use printers already assigned to a target group that I found was to setup differently named printers (which I did with suffixes -Dev, -QA, -Prd).
I can also point out that breaking a system out of PAL or if you do a complete database refresh you have the chance you may have printers in the system that are 'centrally managed' however the system is unknown to PAL; then you have to talk with your DBA and have him clear a column at the DB level and remove the central manager SID, which will then allow for you to edit/delete the printers.

When I try to generate Webi Report through BI Launch Pad against Teradata UNX, it keeps running but I can create the report again Oracle UNX. I can also create webi report through rich client on Teradata UNX but it doesn't work through BI Launchpad. Not sure what can be the problem.

Hi,
This is like cardinality in web dynpro abap. We can compare segment as line of internal table.Internal table use dynamic memory allocation so need to specify number of lines.If you specify the segment maximum number say n that means the idoc can has n number of lines(segment typ) at run time.If you include more number of lines in your program while creating idoc it will giva syntax error.
Suppose let sales order Idoc type sal and it has 2 segments header-----hseg
Item segment----iseg
If you set maximum number of segments of hseg is 1and iseg is 10
That means idoc can has header data of one sales order and 10 items data of that sales order.
If you set hseg max is 2 then you can include header data of two sales order in one idoc.
Similarly minimum of segment also. If violate the segment max,min assignment ,we will get styntax error,
So segment max,min use to restrict the amount of data that we can include in one idoc.

I'm scratching my head on this one. I have set up Content Server and created a repository in OAC0 that is tested and works correctly (green light says it's running). In OAC3 I have pointed a document (BUS4401-FICACHECK) to this repository and database table TOA01. When I print a check, I set the print mode to 3 - Print and Archive. The check prints, but nothing goes into TOA01. I have configured the ARCH output device in SPAD correctly. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.
