You are right, I tried this period control and it worked. On another note, I see that SAP suggests what the depreciation period should be based on the period control attached to the depreciation key but the depreciation date is still the same as the capitalization date. Message no. AA186 is just warning; how do I have the depreciation date change automatically based on the dep key?

I have requiremment where iam using the BAPI : BAPI_PIRSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI to create some forecase for simultion version getting an Error saying " A different planing version is used"
But when i call the same FM from SE37, using the same test varinat i could able to suceesfully crete it.
My requirement ,where a ZPROGRAM is created with following steps
1.Read forecast from Simulation version usin the BAPI : BAPI_PIRSRVAPS_GETLIST into corresponding internal table.
2.Copy Active version data to Simulation version using the standard tcode /SAPAPO/VERCOP.
i.e It will delete all data from Simulation & copy Master & transactional from Active.
3.Now Recreate the Forecast read in step 1 to Simulation version (Carry forward my forecast) using he FM : BAPI_PIRSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI, but its RETURING error"A different Palnning version is used".
Can you please help me out??

Is there no point at which you know you have all your data?
Did you check if you already have a work order that is started. Only work order can be in started state.

Running iqunload in schema unload mode generates a reload SQL file that contains all the SQL statements necessary to re-create the legacy database schema.
You can use schema unload mode to create an empty version of a database. When you execute iqunload in schema unload only mode, using the command line argument -n, a file that contains all the SQL necessary to create the database schema is created.

When you submit data from EPM input sheet you have to select a cost center, you can have a validation in place to check if the cost center is the combination of product and entity's property.
You can use EPM formulas and excel formulas to warn user if they select the incorrect cost center for the selected entity and product before saving data,
or
you can modify the write back BADI to change the cost center to the combination of the properties of product and entity, and ignore whatever the user has selected from EPM.

I have understand the source tables from sql and tables are as follows from SQL Server.
dbo.pp_SAP_org_assignement
dbo.pp_SAP_org_unit
dbo.pp_SAP_orgunit_relations
I have to take relevant fields from these table and as per the mapping which(given by functional consultant) i need to take only few fields from these tables.
And after taking the relevant fields from the above table i will put it in 1 excel.
If i am right or wrong please let me know.
Please let me know the steps, what i need to do and what is the use of SQL transform.
If i use the SQL Transform, then what about the path c:\migration\source_file_di_in in the script from where the query is getting executed.
Also, i need to schedule this job on daily or weekly or fortnightly basis after completion.

I have a problem, i try to upgrade the kernel and when i execute this command:
CALL QP2SHELL PARM('/QOpenSys/usr/bin/csh' '-c' 'SAPCAR.EXE -xvf ILE.SAR iletools ILE_TOOLS;iletools')
Nothing happend, still not exist the SAP_TOOLS library, i search logs in WRKSPLF but dont find something related to the error .
I think the error is because the SAPCAR is not installed on the server like a library, i just use SAPCAR.EXE for execute the command.
Someone know the steps to install SAPCAR or using it in AS400?

The SAPCAR.EXE and ILE.SAR are in the same folder.

i checked the transaction OBC4 and OB41 and i can confirm that XREF 3 is setted as optional so it should be shown. I really can't understand if this may be a bug of the standard.

Thanks Madhu! I was able to get past the INTEROP errors by removing access to catalogs with duplicate target mappings.
However I'm still facing the original issue. I have a feeling it might be related to the Device API warning I receive when opening the app. Any idea how to get past this warning?

We are traying implemente EDI on SAP Business One ver9.0 PL11, we are looking for some manual to give us step by step the way to setup this function but we do not have good look about it so please if any body knows the solution to setup this functionally please share the information, you can help to us to implement sucessfuly this tool. we are vendor to so many clients who Works with EDI, we need to received those sales orders directly to SAP B1 using EDI and generate ASN too.

Hi,
I'm sure this is a very simple question.
When I perform certain activities in Solution Manager (i.e. create Task List) I have to input a password for some development systems but for other development systems I don't.
For example, DR3 (our ECC Development system), I don't have to put in a password.
But for DTM (Transportation Management Dev system), I do have to put in a password.
I think it has something to do with creating the CTS project (which transports will be assigned to) but I have no idea why I have to put a password in for some and not others.
How can I resolve so I don't have to type a password for those systems?

I have a client that is getting the error: Pick List Date must be between order date and cancellation date.
I was only able to find one thread on this regarding checking to make sure the doc data and delivery dates on the order and the pick list were the same. They are.
I am at a loss as to if there is a setting that has been missed or what is going on. Please see the attached screenshots.
The background job is applicable not to only IP30, but to any program. So it will be applicable to other cases of IP30 also where periodic scheduling is required. About your specific case or a case other than these, you need to simulate in test servers and see.
