Let me try answering your questions.
Answer - Part 1:
* Unless there is any logistic movement happening, batches for materials available under unrestricted stocks can't be pushed into inspection stock.
* But you have an option to put the materials of unrestricted stocks in 'Restricted' usage using MSC2N.
* You can manually create a inspection lot of type 89 [which is not linked to stock posting], for the same material + batch.
* Else, you can check the feasibility of creating an enhancements in such a way that once MSC2N is executed to change the batch status to 'restricted', it should trigger inspection lot creating functionality for the same material/batch/plant combination and create inspection lot of type 89 in the background.
* Then perform Result recording, UD posting.
* Use a Follow-up action linked to UD code. Once UD is done then this follow-up action should be triggered to call MSC2N and update the batch status form "restricted" to "unrestricted" if UD = A. Else, if UD = R, the call the transaction MB1B/MIGO + MvT 344. to post the material stock to 'blocked' stock type.
Answer - Part 2:
* In case you are trying to copy already result recorded MIC values form one inspection lot to another inspection lot [normally same inspection plan related], then there are already several threads in SCN speaking about result copy functionality. Please explore. This is possible.
* In case while copying results for Inspection lot 1 MIC values linked to inspection plan 1, to inspection lot 2, having different inspection plan, then only the MIC's which are common would be copied to the 2nd inspection lot.
* In case you still wish to copy the results for the MIC's form inspection lot 1, which are not available in inspection lot 2, then there is a mechanism available to first add these new MIC's in QE01 as 'Ad Hock' MIC. After that copying all the results form 1st insp lot to 2nd insp lot will be possible. While adding these new MIC's in inspection lot, their position number will follow the series 0800 as far as I remember.
* But here is a catch. ONLY COMPLETE COPY MODEL or REFERENCE CHARACTERISTIC type MIC can be added by such case. MIC's which are INCOMPLETE COPY MODEL can be used in the above mechanism.

My doubt is that,with what TDLINE should be concatenated along with space.Bit confused with that logic.
Why are you passing both the dates?
Just pass the object being used for Reporting Priod column.
You have to pass Region & date field being used in Reporting period column.

I am trying to import QAS Address search WSDL in SAP HCI mapping . The WSDL location is

I am unable to add this WSDL in the source or target structure of mapping .. Is there any exclusion that I need to consider to this WSDL . However I am able to use this WSDL In the SOAP Channel and select the required binding too.
Please advise how could I use this address search WSDL in HCI mapping

Go to Help > About Eclipse > Installation Details. There should be "SAP HANA Cloud Platform Tools for Connecting to SAP HANA Systems".
You wrote that you installed the "SAP Hana Development Tools".
There are two plugins: the "SAP HANA Tools", which only contains the "basic" HANA Studio functionality and the "SAP HANA Cloud Platform Tools", which adds the capability to connect to the cloud systems. You need both!

Hi Experts.
We have an environment where releasing the changes list does not trigger cache update job as background job automatically. It take half an hour to 3 hours sometimes. Which has led me to believe somewhere during the installation cache update job's frequency may have been set to 3 hours (assumption). And depending on when we activate the change list in that window to 3 hours, it takes remaining time of that window for cache refresh.
e.g. so if I release the change list at say 1 hour of that 3 hour window, cache refresh will take 2 hours. Now if I release the change list at say 2:30 hour mark in that 3 hour window. It will take 30 minutes to refresh/update the cache.
Can you please let me know if my assumption is correct? If yes, can you please tell me where is this frequency set so that I can reset it to automatic mode or some other mode where it gets refreshed as soon as objects are activated?
If possible can you please at least redirect me to the link or navigation path where I can see this job's properties?

Please have a look at SAP Note 505700 - LBWE: New update methods as of PI 2002.1.
You should consider another update method: direct delta or queued delta.
Also the blog LOGISTIC COCKPIT DELTA MECHANISM - Episode three: the new update methods can be referenced for detailed explanation.

Hello DQM Experts,
We are running DQM SP4, Data Services 4.2 SP1. We have enabled address (PV) validation and duplicate checking for creation of vendors. However, whenever we create a new address using transaction MEAN, DQM duplicate checking is not invoked and as such we are creating duplicates. Has anyone experienced this and if so it would be greatly appreciated if you could help point me towards a solution.

Hi, everyone.
I have been asked to build an interface (ECC)Proxy - PI - Soap. It is asynchronous. I need to capture Technical Ack(200, 404, 500, etc) from receiver and send it back to ECC using another interface to update a table with log(message delivered or not). I´ve read a lot about it but I still havent found a solution. Proxy Ack as far as I know just tell me if the message reached PI but not the receiver, right? BPM ack tell me if message has reached the comm channel but not the receiver either. I´d be very grateful if someone gave me some hints.
